Leopard

 

We noticed her become fully alert and then move off very purposefully ...
she entered a small clearing just ahead of us where we saw a lone wild dog had brought down a large impala buck.

A single wild dog will not take on a leopard and it ran.
Tortillis immediately pounced on the hapless impala and proceeded to throttle it.
The wild dog had started to disembowel the impala, which was already in a state of deep shock by the time Tortillis got to it.
